Surrey Heath Age Concern is developing a new Carers Respite Sitting Service and we are looking for volunteers.

The aim of the service will be to give older full time carers in Surrey Heath a couple of hours break from their caring responsibilities on a regular basis.

The service will provide companionship and support in the absence of the usual carer. Volunteers will not be expected to provide any personal or nursing care.

We need reliable volunteers who can commit 2-3 hours of their time each week and who have an understanding and empathy with the needs of older people.
